Situated in one of the most commercial streets in Rome, close to
the Vatican City and Castel Sant'Angelo, Florida Hotel is
in Prati urban district, well-known for its elegant palaces
dated back to 20th century, where one can walk even during the
evening, even eating an ice-cream by "Portofino", just 200
meters from our facility.
Having a nice walk, you can reach Piazza di Spagna, Via
Condotti, Via degli stilisti (Gucci, Prada, Valentino, Cartier,
Fendi), to finally reach Trevi Fountain. Crossing the bridge,
you'll get Piazza Navona, Piazza della Rotonda and the Pantheon.
If you prefer, close to our hotel are public transport stations,
which will drive you to the most interesting places in the city.
Bus no. 81 will bring you to Piazza di Spagna, Trevi Fountain,
the Colosseum and the Imperial Forums. Buses no. 40 or 632 will
lead you to Santo Spirito Hospital (about 400 meters from our
hotel), from where you can reach Piazza Navona and the Pantheon.
How to reach our hotel:
By car:
Once you are in the Grande Raccordo Anulare (Rome's ring road),
you can easily reach our hotel from everywhere, since it is
connected with all main motorways. You have to exit Roma Nord,
then follow road signs towards Salaria-Flaminia-Cassia-Aurelia.
Take gate number 1 (Aurelio) and drive towards the centre of
Vatican City. You need to have no qualms about reach us by car
and you can park in areas delineated by blue strips (parking
meter from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., except for Sundays and
holidays).
By train:
Termini Station is about 7 kms away from our hotel; if you get
in a taxi, it will cost about 15 euros and it will take just
15/20 minutes to get here. Otherwise, you have at your disposal
public transport: underground "line A" towards Battistini
station, to get off at Ottaviano/San Pietro stop. From there, it
will take 10 minutes on foot to reach our hotel. Another
possibility is the bus: bus no.64 leaves from the other side of
the station and its closest stop is that in the Vatican City:
from there, it will take about 15 minutes on foot to reach our
hotel. |
By plane:
Fiumicino Airport is well connected with Rome through the
motorway or "Leonardo Express" train service arriving at Termini
station in about 30 minutes. The way by taxi from the airport
costs 40 euros. Leaving Ciampino airport by bus, you'll be at
the hotel in a few minutes. Reach the station by Anagnina
underground line A and get off at Ottaviano/San Pietro stop (the
way takes about 35/40 minutes). A taxi to get to our hotel will
cost 30 euros.
